EFFECTS OF SPRINT INTERVAL TRAINING ON ATHLETES' SPEED

چکیده

ABSTRACT Introduction: The sprint is a track and field event that combines strength speed. It has cyclical nature. Each muscle group involved in the starter completes hundreds of contractions. Maximum fastest contraction are best combinations. This explosive power runners. Objective: Analyze effects interval training on speed athletes. Methods: In random sampling, 30 college athletes were selected for investigation. These runners divided into experimental control groups. adopted method with tire traction. did not engage this physical exercise. load athlete was gradually increased during period, lasting 10 weeks. Competitors performed short-distance tests after training. Results: After ten weeks, group's performance meters significantly improved (P<0.05). There statistical increase acceleration 50m start (P<0.01). no significant difference between groups 30-meter starting (P>0.05). Conclusion: Sprint effective increasing Level evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation treatment outcomes.

A group-enhanced sprint interval training program for amateur athletes.

Sprint interval training (SIT) can elicit improvements in aerobic and anaerobic capacity. While variations in SIT protocols have been investigated, the influence of social processes cannot be overlooked. As research supports the use of groups to influence individual cognitions and behaviours, the current project assessed the effectiveness of a group-based intervention with participants conducti...

Effects of whole body vibration training on muscle strength and sprint performance in sprint-trained athletes.

Despite the expanding use of Whole Body Vibration training among athletes, it is not known whether adding Whole Body Vibration training to the conventional training of sprint-trained athletes will improve speed-strength performance. Twenty experienced sprint-trained athletes (13 male symbol, 7 female symbol, 17-30 years old) were randomly assigned to a Whole Body Vibration group (n=10: 6 male s...

The effects of different speed training protocols on sprint acceleration kinematics and muscle strength and power in field sport athletes.

A variety of resistance training interventions are used to improve field sport acceleration (e.g., free sprinting, weights, plyometrics, resisted sprinting). The effects these protocols have on acceleration performance and components of sprint technique have not been clearly defined in the literature. This study assessed 4 common protocols (free sprint training [FST], weight training [WT], plyo...

Sprint vs. interval training in football.

The aim of this study was to compare the effects of high-intensity aerobic interval and repeated-sprint ability (RSA) training on aerobic and anaerobic physiological variables in male football players. Forty-two participants were randomly assigned to either the interval training group (ITG, 4 x 4 min running at 90 - 95 % of HRmax; n = 21) or repeated-sprint training group (RSG, 3 x 6 maximal sh...
